About Us
Old Catholic Church of North America

It is our utmost desire to provide a place where all can come to worship
God, say their prayers, receive the
Sacraments and be fed with the
Word. Of particular concern to us is the offering of
valid sacraments to
those who have left Roman Catholicism or other Christians seeking
forms of worship and beliefs founded in the traditions and beliefs of the
early church.

We are currently seeking
mature men and women, married or single
who feel a call to Holy Orders of
Deacon or Priest and/or those already
ordained that are seeking
incardination. We all are self-sustained by
the grace of God, as we pay no salaries to our clergy. Our clergy often
have paid ministries as
chaplains within corporate, hospice, hospital,
and jail
settings. Some hold secular jobs while starting home churches
or sharing their gifts with other Christian organizations. We offer
seminary training through
St. Michael's Old Catholic Seminary, in
Tampa, FL with degrees in theology, that lead to ordination. If you feel
called to
ministry and want to share your talents, let the Bishops know
and please put in the subject heading: Ordination or Incardination.

Each priest is free to use a rite that is conducive for worship at the
local level
as long as the rite used is approved by their bishop. For this
reason you will find that some of our clergy may elect to use the
Book
of Common Prayer
, another may use a modified Roman Rite, or an
Orthodox Rite,  and yet others may use a Rite which is a mixture of
Roman,
Anglican, Episcopalian and German Old Catholic. Once again
our primary concern is both providing a place of worship for all and
being a place where clergy is empowered to provide ministry. Whether
the setting is a chapel, cathedral, home church, hospice, hospital, jail
or oratory, our prayers, praise and petitions are unto the LORD.

We offer and profess
Seven Sacraments. They are Baptism,
Reconciliation, Communion, Confirmation, Holy Matrimony, Holy
Orders and Anointing of the Sick. We believe that
all those baptized in
the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are
[by this Baptism]
members incorporate into the Body of Christ
. Thus, all our Christian
brothers and sisters of other denominations are welcome to partake
of all our Sacraments.
